April is Occupational Therapy Month


National Occupational Therapy Month is celebrated each April to bring awareness to and educate people on the unique benefits of occupational therapy treatment.

Corporate 5k Food Drive

The Charity Committee recently collected non-perishable food items for one of the Corporate 5K beneficiaries --- The Christian Service Center. Last year, Jackson Therapy Partners collected about 660 items and this year the company was hoping to at least DOUBLE and collect an impressive 1,200 ITEMS! With the help of sister company, Jackson Nurse Professionals, the companies collected 1,433 items for those in need! 
About Corporate 5K
The IOA Corporate 5k presented by News 13 and Bright House Sports Network is a 3.1-mile run/walk event held exclusively for Florida’s corporate community. Businesses and non-profit organizations form teams and participate in the Corporate 5k for camaraderie, friendly competition and celebrating with co-workers. Consisting of over 700 local companies made up of 14,000 participants that include employees, CEOs, vendors, friends and families, the community joins together in downtown Orlando for fun, networking, and a celebration of healthy living. Food Drive
The Christian Service Center is a private, non-profit service agency which, since 1971, has provided our community with programs designed to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. The Center is supported by area churches, businesses, civic organizations, foundations, and individuals.
