Jackson Therapy Partners Supports A Gift for Teaching
August is Back to School Month!
Sister companies, Jackson Therapy Partners and Jackson Nurse Professionals will
be collecting donations for A Gift for Teaching, a Central Florida organization
that improves public education by collecting surplus school supplies and
distributing them to students in need through a FREE store for teachers.
The companies have a goal to collect 100 items by August 30 to contribute to the organization's 15th Birthday Celebration Campaign --- celebrating 15 years of being Central Florida's primary provider of supplies to underprivileged students

A Gift For Teaching works to ensure that underprivileged students

Hospital Charitable Service Awards
Sponsored by our parent company, Jackson Healthcare, The Hospital Charitable
Service Awards honor hospitals whose charitable commitment
to their community-whether locally, regionally, nationally or globally-has led
to innovative, sustainable and collaborative efforts to improve community
health and increase access to healthcare education and services. The deadline to

All hospital-funded community programs are eligible to participate

June is National Aphasia Awareness Month
National
Aphasia Awareness Month is celebrated each June to bring national
awareness and education to this condition that affects approximately one
million Americans.
Aphasia is an impairment of language, affecting the production or comprehension of speech and the ability to read or write. Aphasia is always due to injury to the brain, most commonly from a stroke, but may also arise from head trauma, brain tumors, or infections.

Parent Company, Jackson Healthcare, Ranks 4th in Atlanta’s Healthiest Employer Ranking

Healthiest Employer Awards, large employer category for 2013. Presented
by the Atlanta Business Chronicle in partnership with
Healthiest Employers, LLC, the Awards recognize those companies that
lead in associate wellness efforts. As part of its wellness initiatives,
Jackson Healthcare rewards associates who participate in biannual
biometric screenings and actively follow healthy living recommendations.
The
Healthiest Employer Ranking is based on wellness efforts self-reported
by participating companies through an online survey and analyzed by
Healthiest Employers, LLC, a data aggregation and analytics organization
whose mission it is to improve wellness programming outcomes.
Participating companies were asked questions regarding leadership's
commitment to wellness initiatives, strategic wellness programming and
